     We care about environmental protection

Inline Poland pays ever greater attention to an environmental protection. The manufacturing process of plastic packages in Inland Poland generates about 20% of waste which is then nearly 100% recycled. This is a result of effective waste management, including: analysis of actual waste volumes against budgeting assumptions, effective allocation of manufacturing orders to workstations, co-operation with customers who are at the same time our suppliers of complementary goods. The vital part of the environmental protection strategy in Inline Poland is consideration for the surrounding nature as early as at the supplier's selection stage. The Supplier's Qualification Card used by the company also covers elements of environmental protection by our suppliers and influences our decision making process regarding selection of a supplier.

With rerd to the planned construction of a new factory in Murowana Goślina near Poznań, we have paid particular attention to the protection of the environment through planned actions, such as:

  • use of heat recovery from the air blown out of compressors utilized for heating, which will allow us to save up to 50,000 m3 of natural gas annually (325 MWh) and, as a result, will reduce our CO2 emission by about 106 tons per year;

  • replacement of oil-fired heating boilers with gas-fired boilers, which will reduce our sulphur dioxide emission by about 170 kg per year;

  • boilers used in the existing factory are of the "classic" type with a standard efficiency of about 92%. The newly designed factory will utilize condensing boilers with an efficiency of about 107%. This will improve the heat generation effectiveness by 16% and, consequently, will lower thermal energy consumption;

  • use of modern variable speed drive compressors with permanent magnets in the induction motor. Introduction of these two innovations limits energy consumption by the compressors and increases their effectiveness by 30%, giving significant energy savings and limiting condensate discharge and thermal energy emission;

  • introduction of the equipment cooling system by use of the "FREE COOLING" chiller. The system allows the company to save electric energy and limit operation of the aggregate which uses harmful cooling agents (such as FREON);

  • planning of the automatic temperature control system in the compressor room (locks, controls, ventilators), which will allow the company to use the minimum required quantities of the atmospheric air as a cooling agent. This, in turn, is related to a reduction in thermal energy emission and saving of electric energy consumed by the compressors during start-up;

  • the process water in the new factory will be chilled in closed equipment ensuring a lack of water losses (by evaporation) and lower water consumption.

Moreover, Inline Poland ensures full and guaranteed hazardous waste treatment subcontracted to the licensed company, ABBA-Ekomed, and the disposal of remaining process waste by professional recycling companies Buck Recycling and Surdramet.
